Nevis Authentication Cloud
Introduction
Nevis Authentication Cloud provides multi factor authentication as a service. You can configure this authentication method as a second factor for a user.
Properties
In order to configure Nevis Authentication Cloud, you have to configure the appropriate CoreOne Authentication Service Settings. Please referr to settings 70 through 74 in the https://itsense.atlassian.net/l/cp/tFyQBJBi Documentation.
Lost Device
Whenever a user has lost his device or his device was damaged and is no longer operational, he can no longer login when a push notification is required to authenticate. As there is no equivalent logon method with the same security level, there is no way to reset this authentication method. However, you have to option to display a help page to guide the user to the appropriate place, where he can get help. This could be your help desk that then will reset the authentication method for the user or any other process.
Overriding language keys
The easiest way is to override the translations of the default view. You can use the following keys:
Module.DM.AuthenticationService.AuthenticationMethods.Nevis.LostDevice.Title
Module.DM.AuthenticationService.AuthenticationMethods.Nevis.LostDevice
→ Can contain RAW HTML
Override view
If you want to replace the entire page, you can override the following partial view:
C:\ProgramData\ITSENSE\Templates\CoreLogin\general\Standard\Nevis\Authentication\_LostDeviceContentPartial.cshtml
