Account and Security

Introduction

On the account and security page the user can see and modify all security relevante information.

Account

In the account box the user is presented with information about his account such as the amount of logins, the date of his last password set and so on. Additionally he has the following actions available to him:

Deactivate

He can choose to deactivate his own account. This will simply deactivate his identity. If allowed, he can reactivate his account on a later date by himself.

Delete

He can choose to initiate the deletion of his account. Depending on the configuration this will either delete or anonymize his identity.

Export personal data

This will export all his personal data to a json file in accordance with GDPR.

Change password

He can choose to change his password.

Secure Authentication

In the secure authentication box the user can activate or deactivate one or more multi factors. If activated, these authentication steps are activated for all authentications, regardless of the clients or applications LoA. This a way to further secure his account regardless of the security settings of the client or application.

Social Logins

If enabled, the user is presented with a list of all social logins or external logins that he has configured. He also has the option to link and unlink his account to any configured social or external login.
