Definition

Describes a function or job description within the organisation under consideration. For example, a tester, caretaker, line manager, etc.

New functions are entered under Create Function, whereby the designation for men as well as for women must be specified. If a core identity is to be described with a new employment or employment relationship, these functions are available for selection.

The functions can be linked to a role. This means that core identities that are assigned a function in employment automatically receive the role linked to it. For example, the core identity with the function "tester" (see figure above) is automatically assigned a role called "test team".
