Accessibility

Introduction

Accessibility is the inclusive practice of ensuring there are no barriers that prevent interaction with usage of any of the CoreOne Suite components. There are various standards and conventions to be followed. On of the most common one is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1

This guidelines is also referenced in many other standards, such as the eCH-0059 Standard. Within the standard, there are various success criterias order from A (lowest) to AAA (Highest).

User Interfaces

The CoreOne Suite has various user interfaces and depending on the user interface, we meet or do not meet the WCAG 2.1 AAA standard. To be fully transparent, we will disclose this information in detail.

CoreOne Authentication Services and CoreOne Self-Services

Fully WCAG 2.1 AAA compliant

The CoreOne Authentication Services and CoreOne Self-Services are use by thousands of users every day, so accessibility has the highest priority. You may notice that the default design is very slim and simple. This is intentional and helps achieve the WCAG 2.1 AAA compliance.

CoreOne Admin UI

Partially WCAG 2.1 AAA compliant

The CoreOne Admin User Interfaces are mainly used by administrators and power users, so accessibility has had not the highest priority in the past. But we strive to achieve to be fully WCAG 2.1 AAA compliant here as well by the Q2of 2024.

Custom Design Changes

All of our user interfaces are adjustable and customers can change the look and feel of the application. Please be aware that you might need to recheck the WCAG 2.1 AAA success criterias when doing so.
