Introduction

The CoreOne Suite can be installed and used as a “Single-Line”-System. The CoreOne Suite-Components (“Web Service” and “Authentication Service”) are therefore installed on the same server, while the “Application Services” are installed on a separate server.
For the Database there is the option for it to be installed on an individual server or on the server where the CoreOne Suite Backend is installed. Therefore we have two commonly used solutions, the OnPrem version which uses customer servers and the software as a service solution which is the standard installation ITSENSE configures for our Identity-Platform installations.

Servers

For the Single-Line-Installation, two servers are required. A Front- and a Backend-Server. The Database is installed on the backend server in this case.

The Backend-Server needs to cover the requirements according to https://itsense.atlassian.net/l/c/oEo2yr1e.

The Frontend-Server needs to cover the requirements according to https://itsense.atlassian.net/l/c/V1xuzLdC.

Software

Frontend / Web-Server

  • CoreOne Web Services

  • CoreOne Authentication Services

  • CoreOne Suite Self-Service Portal

Backend-Server

  • CoreOne Application Program Interface

  • CoreOne Application Services

  • CoreOne Workflow Engine

  • Database (MySQL / MariaDB)

Usually the software is installed by ITSENSE, if you want to know more or install it by yourself (not recommended) follow this page:

Software as a service installation

Big Picture

For software as a service installations we use the following construct with the Amazon-Service ‘RDS (Amazon Relational Database Service)’:

Servers

For the Single-Line-Installation, two servers are required. A Front- and a Backend-server. In addition we install an RDS endpoint for the database.

The servers have to cover the system-requirements for the Software. Those can be found in the following pages:

The Backend-Server needs to cover the requirements according to https://itsense.atlassian.net/l/c/oEo2yr1e.

The Frontend-Server needs to cover the requirements according to https://itsense.atlassian.net/l/c/V1xuzLdC.
