Core Identity State
Introduction
Each Core Identity is in a specific state. Depending on the state, different processes are either executed or not.
Active
A Core Identity that is active is fully integrated in all process. The role and resource assignments, attribute set and asset assignments, recertifications, and many other things are calculated periodically or event driven.
Suspended
A suspended Core Identity is in a hibernated state. All the related identities are automatically deactivated and the person is not able to login with any of his identities. The role and resource assignments, attribute set and asset assignments, recertifications, and many other things are calculated periodically or event driven.
A suspended Core Identity will still be part of approval processes but the person will not get informed by mail notification and since the person can not login either, will not be able to approve or decline.
Deactivated / Deleted
A deactivated or deleted Core Identity does no longer participate in any processes. The record is marked as deleted but is still present in the system. Depending on the configuration, the record either stays there or will be anonymized after a grace period. All the identities that are associated with the Core Identity are deprovisioned.
This state was introduced in version 8.0
