How-to configure an initial password for an identity

Introduction

If no configuration has been made for the initial password, it will be generated by the System Connector. To configure the initial password, proceed as follows:

Step-by-step guide

  1. Select the appropriate provisioning configuration and switch to the 'Attribute Assignments' tab.

  2. Here you should find the attribute 'password (Initial Password)'. If it is not present, add it.

  3. Now add a 'String Expression' mapping for the mentioned attribute.

  4. Now you have the possibility to configure the password.

Tip: Do you want the same password on all created identities of a core identity? Just link the attribute 'password (Initial Password)' attribute 'Core Identity: Initial Password' of the core identity!
