Reconciliation / Cleanup

Introduction

In the reconciliation / cleanup section of the target system you will find various features that you can either enable or disable, depending on your needs.

Reconciliation Log

If enabled, the reconciliation log task that will compare the CoreOne Suite Meta Directory Data against the target systems data. Any deviations will be logged to the tasks output result. You can use this feature to create a simple output file that you can use to check your configuration, detect anomalies but do the cleanup yourself.

Reconciliation

If enabled, the reconciliation task will compare the CoreOne Suite Meta Directory Data against the target systems data and adjust all deviations automatically in the target system.

Read back account properties

If enabled, the reverse binding task will resolve all target systems properties that have a binding mode of <Target System → COS> and store their values in the CoreOne Suite Meta Directory.

Resource identity member target system clean up

If enabled, the reconciliation task will take the resource memberships into consideration. This means, that

  • identities that are present in the CoreOne Suite Meta Directory and are members of a resource which they should not be, will be removed in the target system.

  • identities that are present in the CoreOne Suite Meta Directory and are not members of a resource they should be, will be added in the target systems.

  • identities that are not present in the CoreOne Suite Meta Directory stay untouched

Resource resource member target system clean up

If enabled, the reconciliation task will take the resource membership nesting into consideration. This means, that

  • resources that are present in the CoreOne Suite Meta Directory and are members of a resource which they should not be, will be removed in the target system.

  • resources that are present in the CoreOne Suite Meta Directory and are not members of a resource they should be, will be added in the target systems.

  • resources that are not present in the CoreOne Suite Meta Directory stay untouched.
