Introduction

The following instructions describe how the CoreOne SAP modules can be installed on a SAP system.

Step 1 - Import Transport Request

Start the transaction AL11

Scroll down the list to the DIR_TRANS entry. You need this directory path for the further installation.

Start the transaction CG3Z

Upload the cofile file with the general information.

  • Localize the installation file as the source file

  • cofiles

  • Specify the path determined in step 2 as the target file

Select Overwrite file and click Upload

Upload the data file with the general information.

  • Localize the installation file as the source file

  • data

  • Specify the path determined in step 2 as the target file

Select Overwrite file and click Upload

Download the data file with general information.

  • Localize the installation file as the source file

  • data

  • Name the transport request as follows: Move the first three symbols of the file to the end and replace K with R

Select Overwrite file and click Download

Start STMS

Select Import Overview

Double-click the system on which you want to install the transport request

Choose Extras → Other Requests → Add

Enter the transport request number of the imported transport request and choose Import Again. Confirm with Continue.

The transport request is displayed in the overview

Select the entry and click Select / Delete Request. Then choose Import Request to start the installation.

In the pop-up window, select the client on which you want to install. In the Options tab, select the options as shown and click Continue.

Confirm the installation on the next screen.

Ports

The communication between the SAP Connector and the CoreOne Suite System Connector is performed over RFC. Those requests are made in the port range of 3300-3399 and 4800-4899.

The last two digits are usually determinated tb the SystemID of SAP.

Outgoing connections

There is no need to configure an outgoing connection sm59. The connection is always initiated by the CoreOne Universal Connector from the outside.
