Introduction/Definition

All identities available in the CoreOne Suite are listed here. In addition to the user name and identity type, the target system in which the identities are stored is also listed. Each identity represents an account in the target system. Furthermore, the status of the identities and their validity date can be viewed.

Usage

A single identity can be deactivated with a click. The e-mail, telephone number and password can be changed manually; an activation code for the identity can be created. Furthermore, all attributes and resources attached to the identity can be viewed. New resources can be added manually, existing ones can be deleted. Manipulation of an identity (via Update Identity) leads to changes in the Meta Directory. Provisioning the identity leads to changes in the target system. This provisioning can be delayed via provisioning dependencies.

In principle, no manipulations are carried out on the identity object, unless manual resource allocations are made. It describes the status of an account of a core identity in a connected target system. In this respect, the status of the user account can be manipulated, attributes can be checked in the target system or resource allocations can be checked or added manually.
