All E-Mails initiated by the Authentication Service will be sent from the Backend Service. This is because the E-Mail-Templates are defined there. You can not define a different SMTP-Server for the Authentication Service. In a HA Scenario, where the Authentication and Backend Service is not running on the same Server, you only need to make sure, that the Server where the Backend Service is running, is able authorized (e.g. define as Relay Server in Exchange) to send E-Mails. |
